How to monitor mode “Day / Night”, on a softphone X-Lite or Polycom phone ?
On the X-Lite there is no way. On the Polycom you need to get the config files from Polycom set it up on a ftp/tftp/http server. In the configs you need to A) Tell the phone to subscribe to the system and B) Set up in the directory file what to subscribe to.
Of course you need to also set up a custom device on Asterisk that the phone can subscribe to.
