Dahdi installation on Debian

Hello,

I’m trying to install dahdi 2.4.0 on my debian 5.0 machine and I’m getting problems with the proxy authentication. I’m always getting the following error:

Attempting to download dahdi-fwload-vpmadt032-1.25.0.tar.gz

Petición Proxy enviada, esperando respuesta… 407 Proxy Authentication Required
2010-11-04 20:03:13 ERROR 407: Proxy Authentication Required.

I have checked the http_proxy variable and it seems to be ok:

usr:pwd@proxy.xxx.es:8080/

In fact I’m able to use Internet, synaptic, atptitude, etc with no problems.

Any suggestions?

Regards,

You probably need to talk to a local IT person. Possibilities include that the machine isn’t authorised, or the proxy will only accept Microsoft authentication. Full headers on the response might be helpful.
