The res\_rtp\_asterisk module does not use UUID functionality directly, so it is not linked against it. It is linked against the main asterisk binary. ---

The linked post is from 6 years ago, at which point the core did not use UUID functionality so the library was directly used by res\_rtp\_asterisk itself. This was changed so the Asterisk core uses UUID and provides an interface for doing so, thus res\_rtp\_asterisk doesn’t use the library directly anymore. ---
