We are using chan_sip on some systems and over all we want to have compactheaders however for certain peers we do NOT want compactheaders. From my testing it seems that if we have compactheaders set to yes in the general section then it does not matter what I set in the peer settings for a specific peer. Is there any way around this?
No. There is no per-peer setting of that in chan_sip or chan_pjsip.
Ok. I will see if I can find someone to create a patch for pjsip.
