Okay, I decided to just figure this out myself. There are two modules that the new version of Asterisk does not like:
app_trunkisavail.so and chan_zap.so
I’m having some other problems, too. The Asterisk Info page built into trixbox is full of this message:
Unable to connect to remote asterisk (does /var/run/asterisk/asterisk.ctl exist?)
and for some reason I can dial out through my voip provider, but not in…
New update: I have resolved the problem with not being able to dial in. My voip provider was only allowing me one channel. I was able to forward the number to an extension just fine, so that issue is resolved. My Asterisk Info page is still broken, though. It isn’t really a big deal, though, I suppose.
Also, for some reason asterisk isn’t starting up when I reboot the computer. I am able to manually start it afterward, though.
