The telnet to port 5060 isn’t going to show you anything - I get “connection refused” on all of my servers, which are working fine.
In Asterisk, have you enabled SIP debugging, and if so, are you seeing any SIP traffic at all?
As for the system side of things, I’m dealing mostly with Redhat, but it installs iptables by default, which WILL stop phones from registering to the server. Make sure iptables isn’t running on your server.
I don’t see iptables running - besides if that was the issue I would think that the management port or the web server would also not be listening.
No, I don’t see any logging info to the CLI atleast. I’m trying to figure out how to see more. I have “sip set debug” and started in safe mode and tried -vvv
It seems that the asterisk box is not responding. I connected my sniffer and a very minimul network ( just these machines on 1 switch - pinging works ) I don’t see any return packets
