I setup an IP telephone Cisco CP-6921 and when the telephone authenticate in the server is logging a lot of lines like bellow with the method ‘REFER’
[Jul 3 00:02:09] NOTICE[20791]: res_pjsip/pjsip_distributor.c:649 log_failed_request: Request ‘REFER’ from ‘sip:e8b7485876c8@x.x.x.x’ failed for ‘x.x.x.x:1024’ (callid: e8b74858-76c80002-0000710d-0000215c@192.168.0.107) - No matching endpoint found
How can I disable that? this is set up in the .xml file?
I use other models of Cisco telephones and doesn’t have these packets.
The REFER is not the result of authentication. It will be the result of someone pressing a Transfer button.
david551 thanks for your answer.
But is too weird because the telephone is sending many “REFER” lines without any transfer pressed.
I would say this was a question for a Cisco focussed forum.
Thanks I will try to do that… but basically when I put the telephone in the network and the equipament connect in my Asterisk server log it:
We would need the actual, and complete, REFER request, to even start guessing what it was trying to do.
