CID Presentation mismatch

Dear,
Using asterisk and A2Billing, we have been noticing caller ID from customer being capture in different ways.
some clients will have their CID presented with 1 and some without it. e.g: 12023334444 compare to 2023334444.
how can we get them to all be identical?
What type of problem can arise from this?

Asterisk will log the caller ID at the time the CDR is created. That value will be the value received over the wire possibly modified by the dialplan. Asterisk does not come with a dialplan.

You will need to consult your service provider for the former and the supplier of your dialplan for the latter.
