Channel role in bridge

Is there a way to obtain role from channel which is assigned to bridge as an announcer or a participant with ARI? I see that I can only set the role with this endpoint:

POST /bridges/{bridge_id}/addChannel?channel={channel_id}&role=announcer

I thought that I maybe can do it with this request:

GET /channels/{channelId}/variable

but I could not find any variable that holds role value.
I’m using Asterisk 16.12.0.
