Changing dialpan

Hi All
Suppose we have done all the setting in sip .conf & extension.conf file .We have configured xlite according to our config file & its working fine.
Now my question arises can we change our extension number without changing any settings in both the config file(sip.config & extension.config). If my number is 1000 & i want to change to 2000 through xlite can it be possible without changing any values in both the config file

No. You would need to change it in asterisk. You can use asterisk real time and write a script that will connect to the mysql database and switch your configuration in there.
