chan_ss7 installation problem

Hi Sir,

     I had compiled the asterisk-1.6.1, dahdi-linux-complete-2.2.0-rc4+2.2.0-rc2 , chan_ss7-1.3 , wanpipe-3.4.1 versions

After compilation the tools we getting the error.

test002*CLI> module load chan_ss7.so
Unable to load module chan_ss7.so
Command 'module load chan_ss7.so ’ failed.

could any one please suggest to resolve the problem.

You are using a version of chan_ss7 that was not compiled for Asterisk 1.6.1.

Also note that all support, other than peer support, including security fixes, has ended for 1.6.1 and there are no versions below 1.8 receving non-security fixes.
