Can i use the configuration 1.4 backup to 1.6?

Hi Friends ,

I am running on the production Server on my network . with Asterisk 1.4 , with regular weekly backup .

Now i like to upgrade my server with Asterisk 1.6 .

  1. Can i use the same Asterisk GUI version 2.0.4 on asterisk 1.6?
  2. The same can restore my old back files ( asterisk1.4) to Asterisk 1.6 server through Asterisk-GUI ?
