Can Asterik replace what we currently use?

We have an older voice mail type system that uses two modems and runs under DOS. A real old beast. It is now only used for one group leader to call in leave a message and have the software call persons on a list with that voice message to broadcast the message.

Is Asterik or Asterik with add-ons capable of replacing our dying dinasour.

I’m pretty sure it can, yes. Check the nerd vittles website - he has a setup described that does what you’re describing (having a message that is sent to a number of phone numbers - kinda like a telemarketer…)
