Can 1 FXO Port handle 5 simultaneous calls?

Newbie poster… please be kind!

I believe our POTS line can have up to 5 simultaneous calls… will a standard FXO card be able to receive and place more than 1 call at a time?

You believe wrong. A POTS line can only have one active call at a time. It is possible that particular operators may allow large numbers of held calls.
