Hello,
When I transfer (either blind or attended) an incoming
call to another extension, that extension shows my
internal number instead of the caller’s number.
This is really annoying.
(Using SNOM and Polycom phones on asterisk 1.2.1)

1.2.1 is stone-old. can you upgrade and try again. from 1.2.1 -> 1.2.4 a ton of bugfixes were made…
Well, it’s only 6 weeks old. There is nothing changed since 1.2.1 that involved call transfers, at least I could not find anything in the Changelog.
6 weeks? really??? well, all i know is a bunch of bugfixes were rolled out from 1.2.2 to 1.2.3.
from 1.0.9 to 1.2.0 a lot of bugs were introduced too !!
raarts, i’m sure i’ve seen something on the wiki at voip-info.org about this, but don’t have time to go search for it right now. afaicr it was a deliberate change but there are ways to achieve what you want to do.
FWIW, ward mundy at nerd vittles just posted a HOWTO on how to upgrade from AAH2.2 to AAH2.4…
Hmmm, I thought the message I saw elsewhere said it was an upgrade, but it looks like a vanilla 2.4 install. Oh well…
