HI, please i integrated my asterisk system with the hypermedia GSM gateway but when calls come through the gateway it shows just the trunk line instead of the caller GSM number… please assist me
What do you mean by “integrated”: do you mean that you have connected your Asterisk with GSM gateway via SIP trunk? If “yes”, then:

Could you provide your trunk settings (feel free to obfuscate public IPs, phone numbers, passwords)?

Have you checked that caller ID is transmitted correctly by the gateway itself? Most likely, the issue is there…

I have used GOIP and Dinstar GSM gateway, and the caller id display has to be tweaked on the device it self, make sure you have trustrpid = yes on the peer settings
