I’m running my asterisk server only for routing calls after hours, and everything is running well, except caller ID. Our POTS lines all support caller ID, and the Avaya Partner II PBX that runs the office phones and transfers incoming calls the the Asterisk box shows callerID on the office phones, but asterisk doesn’t seem to detect a caller ID. I’ve tried plugging one of the POTS lines straight into asterisk and then it detects properly.
Any ideas on how I can get asterisk and the Partner PBX to communicate the caller ID properly?
