Call forward is not working

Hi All,

I am using Asterisk 1.4 and it was working fine that is all actions (call forwarding, call reject and voice-mail) was work. But today, call forwarding is not working. And in the asterisk log, it displayed that call is hanged-up cause 16. Any-body know the reason of this problem???

Hangup cause 16 is a normal clearing. You need to provide CLI logs and possibly SIP traces.

Can you confirm that you are using version 1.4.31 or very nearly that?

What has changed, other than the date?

Do you mean forwarding, or do you mean transfer (Asterisk doesn’t do forwarding, although you can create dialplans that effectively do it).

If transfers, are you using SIP or features transfers?
