Blocking collect calls

Hi.

My company uses Asterisk over Debian for our PABX, and we want to block incoming collect calls.

We checked with our provider, and they could make it for us if we were using its PABX, which we’re not.

My manager also noticed that we could block them if we use R2 signaling and a DigiVoice board, but we’re using a Digium board with ISDN signaling. She noticed, too, that the collect calls can be detected in the debug’s log, which means it’s “detectable”.

That being said, I would like to ask some support from you so we can make that blocking, or if there’s some sort of module we can use.

Try starting from this dialplan snippet:

exten => _XXXX,1,GotoIf(${PRIREVERSECHARGE}?2:3)
exten => _XXXX,n,Hangup()
exten => _XXXX,n,Answer(2000)

I have a client who is a bail bondsman and need to be able to take collect calls from from potential clients in jail. Can Asterisk handle collect calls from certain DID’s and block others?
