I currently have a PRI with NuVox. This is a Voice PRI (23 Voice Lines and 1 Data Line for the Caller ID information and such). I have been playing with Asterisk and I would like to know. Do I have to have a VoIP Service Provider to be able to call from Asterisk to a Mobile Phone? Also if you can provide the extention.conf file that would be great, because my config file is not working.
I know that for a call to terminate on a copper line, all phone companies charge the carrier a handle charge which is usually a fraction of a penny.
