Astrerisk 22: forcing Contact user part in INVITE

Hello,

My ITSP is now requiring me to have the user part of INVITE’s Contact header matching the one in REGISTER.

I’m away from my lab so I can’t experiment as I would like to.

My Asterisk version is 22.0.0. Adding a contact_user=foobar in my trunk endpoint section doesn’t seem to set contact header.

Am I correct expecting to see contact=foobar@ in outbound INVITE ?

Best regards

You would see the user portion of the Contact header URI as the configured value. I just tested in a recent version and it does work as expected.

Thanks for replying.

May I ask if a “pjsip reload” is enough for a new value in contact_user setting to appear in next outbound INVITE ?
