Asterix 16.0.40.11

Hello friends. I have Asterix 16.0.40.11.
Extensions are periodically disconnected and calls are no longer received. core restart gracefully Only after this command does the system start. Then it shuts down again. What can I do if you have had a similar case?

That’s not a version of Asterisk. Are you actually using a GUI such as FreePBX?

What can I do…

I would start by upgrading to a supported version of Asterisk and see whether
the problem persists.

I would also ensure that you are very clear about what problem you are
experiencing, because in your posting you first said “extensions are
periodically disconnected” and that you could do a “core restart gracefully”
command, however you then said that the system “shuts down again”.

Please be clear about whether Asterisk stops running (ie: has shut down) or
whether endpoint devices are simply no longer registered.

Show us what information you see in log files etc to tell you what is
happening, and also explain enough about your network setup, routers, NAT etc
that we can understand how the SIP client devices are connecting to Asterisk.

Also, tell us whether this is a new problem, or whether the system has always
worked in this way. If it’s new, when did the behaviour change?

Antony.

I was told that full logging can be turned on and it turns off due to memory overflow. It wasn’t there at first and I can’t figure out when it started. How can I see or where is the normal logging?

sorry for my english

How were you told to do this?

and it turns off due to memory overflow.

a) how do you know?

b) how much memory do you have in the machine?

It wasn’t there at first and I can’t figure out when it started.

How did you install Asterisk on this machine?

How can I see or where is the normal logging?

Look at the value of astlogdir in /etc/asterisk/asterisk.conf

Antony.

Anyone that’s normal doesn’t really achieve much.
