Hi ,

I have seen ARI’s /channels/externalMedia feature in Asterisk 16.6+. Is there a currently supported LTS release of Asterisk (e.g. 20, 22) in which this feature is fully supported and stable? What LTS versions are recommended for ARI + External Media use in production?

i want to use the audio socket for production and i want the LTS version which has this fixb when can we expect this fix in the lts version ???

External media is in all current releases, including LTS.

Media over websocket is in release candidate status, and George answered when it would be released here:

It will be in 20, 21, 22, and 23.
