I set up a conference that works in part. Indeed, I can connect to a conference room but I can not configure the message waiting and alerts when someone connects. I installed and configured zaptel but it changes nothing.

I’m pretty sure that Trixbox isn’t on Asterisk 10, so there’s no way it’s using Confbridge, which means it’s using MeetMe. Information about the MeetMe application, from a dialplan perspective, is available here:
zaptel is obsolete. With meetme, dahdi is only required for the basic conference bridging and low level timing. Meetme will not work at all without it (zaptel for meetme in obsolete versions of asterisk).

so i must used dhadi or zaptel? , with zaptel when i do the command :
