Currently Asterisk supports ICE but it uses the protocol to connect itself to a client.
We want Asterisk to forward ICE information of two clients so that they can connect directly? is it possible ?
In the general case, Asterisk is a back to back user agent, and that amount of detail of technology dependent information is not passed between drivers.
It is possible that the SIP native bridging logic now forwards this information, but if so, it should be obvious once you correctly enable direct media, and don’t set any options that force Asterisk to have to see the media stream. My guess is that the information is not forwarded, as even direct media SDP is regenerated.
