Where can I find the asterisk .uaw or .wav sound files in other languages other than english. I am looking for something in Romanian.

You select them using make menuselect, during the build process. The build process fetches them from downloads.asterisk.org/pub/telep … s/releases
However there do not seem to be any Romanian files, so you will need to Google to see if there is a third part set of recordings (possibly at a price, or with a restrictive licence), or record them yourself.
You will also need an [ro] section for say.conf, to provide grammar information, for numbers, etc.
