Hello,
I am currently trying to develop an app on android that can automatically connect to asterisk and I need a way to scan the network for the asterisk ip.
I tried using the androids network service discovery, but I couldn’t find asterisk with it.
I have also found posts about the bonjour(apple) and zeroconf from astmasters but any associated links for download were dead. Also the last posts on this topic seem to be 2005.

Can anyone tell me where to start and how to set up asterisk? Or whether the names have changed and I am searching for the wrong thing?.
