The company I work for currently uses Kayako for their online customer support (Livechat, ticketing) and Packet8 for telephone support over VOIP.
This means that we have two separate systems to maintain and we now want to ideally get it in to one complete system. Kayako allows for VOIP phones using an Asterisk based system (Packet 8 does not seem to allow for this or work with Kayako in the same way) and the idea was to stop using Packet8 for telephone calls and use Kayako completely by integrating it with an Asterisk client without somehow changing our existing Packet8 system (ring groups, virtual numbers etc.).
Is this actually possible?
If so, what is the easiest way to achieve this and is there any hosted solutions available?
I apologise if this is in the wrong section to start with but any definitive help would be much appreciated.
