Hi all…
I’m facing a new scenario and i would like to have an opinion to choose the right choice…
New customer…an Hotel…legacy pbx with 1 or 2 ISDN BRI trunks…i don’t know why he decided to change telcom operator, so he no more has ISDN trunks but 1 or 2 pstn line…
Now the legacy lacks in-outbound trunk…
I don’t think he would like to change everything…so…i’m asking:
- I heard about ISDN cross cable…is it a valid solution to get connectivity back to the legacy pbx using an asterisk box with isdn cards as a gateway ?
- is there an router / gateway that converts voip to isdn and viceversa ?
- is much better to change everything ?
Thanks…
