Asterisk crashes after handset keys pressed while over PRI

I’m using asterisk 1.4.18 and libpri-1.4.3 on debian 2.6.

I can call from station to station station, no problem. While connected, I can press keys all day long with no issues. However, if I dial out over my PRI line, the call connects just fine & I can talk with people, but if I press a key on my phone, asterisk crashes. I tried this with a soft client & got the same results.

The error message that appears on my console is:

Could someone help me with this or point me in the right direction to look?

The error has been resolved…just posting to let people know what the resolution was, in case someone else ran up against this.

The problem was that in my zaptel.conf file, I didn’t have the following two lines:
loadzone=us
defaultzone=us

Once I added them, everything was fine.
