Asterisk changing DSCP values

Hello,

I noticed that my Asterisk server (TrixBox) is remarking DSCP EF traffic (RTP voice stream) from EF (as set initially by my Linksys PAP2 (SIP) & Cisco 7940G (SCCP)) to AF31. I used Ethereal to verify this by capturing frames received by the switch ports that the 2 phones are connected to. I then captured traffic leaving the WAN interface on my router (I also collected traffic RX’d by the switch port that my * server is on). Any way to correct this undesired remarking?

TIA>

Hi,
Have you find a way to solve it?
It’s slightly different for me, I would like to know if there is a way for Asterisk do not overwrite the dscp value, when packets arrived already tagged with a random value of dscp…

What I ended up doing is having my router change the DSCP values that Asterisk/Trixbox incorrectly remarks.
