Asterisk Call Transfer


We’re currently using a call monitoring script developed soley in php and mysql. It shows calltime for inbound and outbound. How many calls have been taken per agent for both inbound and outbound and so on.

The issue comes about when a colleague transfers a call to another department. The call monitoring time stops on transfer and therefore doesn’t add to the new connected colleague.

I’m guessing you are using CDRs. They do not cope well with more than the simplest of calls, which is why channel event logging was developed.
