how do I configure Asterisk so that other gateway can be authenticated via IP address to terminate call in my Asterisk box?

Can we do simply IP authentication?
Haven’t you try to use some kind of IP fltering method (like firewall).
Take care not to put it on the same machine since it might be CPU hungry.
