Asterisk as Session Boarder Controller (SBC)

I am looking for help on how to setup Asterisk as a session boarder controller (SBC). If anyone knows Edgewater Networks - They have a box that will do what I want Asterisk to do. I want outside SIP phones to register to the Asterisk SBC and pass on the registeration to the inside Asterisk sever that will do all the Voicemails, Dialing, etc (everything).

Please help…

I don’t think that you can do that with Asterisk. It wants to manage the registration locally.

Maybe you could do it with open SER.

Other than that, you’re probably stuck with an SBC.
