Asterisk and CURL?!

I don’t understand why I get this error…

[2008-08-21 12:02:59] WARNING[5732]: pbx.c:1832 pbx_extension_helper: No application ‘CURL’ for extension (extension, 1234567895, 1)

why? I have curl…

[root@pacman 12:06:08 /usr/local/etc/asterisk]# pkg_info | grep -i curl
curl-7.16.3 Non-interactive tool to get files from FTP, GOPHER, HTTP(S)

any Idea?

And

“show application curl” from the asterisk console says

Ian

that’s the weird thing…

pacman*CLI> core show function CURL
-= Info about function ‘CURL’ =-

[Syntax]
CURL(url[|post-data])

[Synopsis]
Retrieves the contents of a URL

[Description]
url - URL to retrieve
post-data - Optional data to send as a POST (GET is default action)

Problem solved,

the application CURL is deprecated so my old…

CURL(http:…) couldnt work anymore… I had to change it to…

${CURL(.)}

and now works correctly!
