For the new Asterisk 2.0.0. we need to establish new effective standards, we need you to implement a basic configuration done in minutes, and extendable depending to the user needs… The CallerID is standardized to for example 0059672839482736, containing the global international number, where the + is relaced by 00 for treatment simplification by the Asterisk System. During a phone call, the MediSecure International reference to a phone number/user cannot be changed, so the MediSecure International ID is not requested, and it owns for too much informations, with the callerID, all requested informations can be reached by the authorized Medical Pack applications, in real time… The CallerId is not more virtual, fake, belonging to someone else… Some laws are applied, but not respected, or only by some/most of Asterisk users, so this again make no sense and creates disparities!
- A small presentation of the called company need to be done, with a music, a voice saying the company name, the legend, the informations about activities, so that the caller knows he called the right company… A human can put his own vocal identity as on his mobile mailbox, or use something more effective, more elaborated… In 1993, we requested the logo of the company to be shown on the phone screen, this functionnality still misses nowaday, even if Medical Pack’s flat screens are there! This sound, identifying vocally the company, can be downloaded by the company, or it should be recorded by the use of a free voice synthetizer if the company still does not have one! We just requested Google to implement this functionnality in Google Translate so that ulaw/alaw messages can be saved/downloaded directly… Of course, opponents system can be used, but this is the free basic solution, serving as a reference for standardization… This presentation is done in the main language of the voice server, usually English… If the calledId is recognized, his prefered language is used, if the user call from a recognized country (CallerId), the local language is automatically sellected before the reading of the ulaw/alaw file! The language can be changed by easily saying in the caller language, with its own words,sententence, witch language he wants to ear so that he understands what the voice server is saying… Here are some exemples “English Please”, “Only English”, “Please talk Englich with me”, or “Merci d’utiliser le français”, “Je parle français”, and even insults are recognized and treated, as only one word define the language, all others are just ignored! The pronounciation of these simple words is not important, as there are only 180 choices…
- If the administrator wants, he can allow the user to select a called partner by entering the unit number during a defined number of seconds. But the Asterisk 2.0.0 version can allow to superpose the different steps, the user can say “Deutsch fortzugehen” when he hears the English company name, and then when he ears the message in Deutsch presenting the called company, and the information that his language selection will be registered in customer’s database so that each future call will be treated in German, till he choose another language, he can press the 200 keys to call the 200 company phone… Asterisk 2.0.0 is clever, rather than for now, the Asterisk 1.8.0 administrator need to be both clever and correct, witch is totally not warrantied!
- If the administratr wants, he can add more functionalities, define what informations of the user he wants to save (country, CallerId,MedStaff International ID including all protected personnal informations witch cannot be saved by any company according to the Medical Pack standards), if the call need to be recorded (then the caller is informed and he can press the 0 key so that the call is not registered)…
So the administrator is assisted, to make a perfect voice server, and a basic voice server cannot be done, as only the best technologies and solutions are used for the efficiency of the vocal server, witch represent Asterisk. Just before hanging up, the voice server will say “You have been served by a Digium Asterisk 2.0 voice server”. in the user’s language, of course! If the caller hang up first, he will not hear this… Time Pad Scheduler will allow to automatically treat up to 200’000 recordings simultaneously on one single server, to treat commands, register staff planning’s calendar, counting the time requested to move from one point to another (even inside the company, by taking in account the specificities of each human being, like habits, puses, smoking habits, medications requests, …) all this treated only by Medisecure International with total discretion… You are far from this standard, you did not realize what Philips requested you in 1994 or 1995… You are one of the best, so you have to succeed, finally… Does Digium count in the future?
