I can get FreePBX working in 5 minutes but I can’t seem to even make a call in the Asterisk GUI.
Configs are separate, so I have no idea how to set the proper configuration for my VOIP provider.
You would think that they would at least let you input more than a user name, password and hostname for a SIP provider.

Any hints or advice?[/quote]
Use the “Users” menu to setup phones and the “Service Providers” menu to setup voip providers. Optionally you can set more options for each technology by visiting the advanced menu rather than the basic one. Change the page displayed in the url from “cfgbasic.html” to “cfgadvanced.html” to access the advanced page.

Hope that helps!

Matt,
Thanks for your response. I have figured out the problem, it was the dialplan.
Is there any documentation on the new SLA implementation and using it with Polycom 601 phones?

Unfortunately, I do not know of any documentation for SLA. I’ve seen it done before, but I have no knowledge of how to do this exactly. I’ll see if I can find someone to explain this.
