Asterisk 1.2.4 - Huge "stealth" improvement

Dear Developerteam,

thank you !

I dont know (changelog doesnt say anything bout it - at least i coundt find) what exactly has been changed in the echocancellation, but the improvement is HUGE.

The inital linesupression (echocancellation=milliseconds) is GONE.
So when your party picks up, the line is not muted for the “echoping” anymore - VERY VERY GOOD !

The echocancellation itself is much more effective now.
From 20 calls 1 echo, but cancelled within 1-2 seconds (4-5s before).

HUGE IMPROVEMENT !
VERY NICE !

Maybe you say now
"Uhm…there wasnt changed anything…"

Well, there were thins changed in the zapata as well and maybe this is the sideeffect of it ?

Anyway, its reproducable:
It has changed to the much better !

GOOD WORK !
Tnx !

What version of Asterisk did you compare the change to? 1.2.X defaults to the KB1 echo can while 1.0.9 used the MG2 echo can.
