I have a a very busy ARI application, running Asterisk 18.3 on Ubuntu; the application places dozens of calls a minute.
When placing a call the very first thing the app does is to create a bridge, using a request like this:
/ari/bridges/ce142c1c-818c-4ee9-b657-8d7791baa091?type=mixing,dtmf_events
A few times a day the http request fails with a message “No such host is known”.
Is this a problem with DNS resolution on Linux? How can I test this assumption?
