Are there charges for incoming calls?

Hello All,

I am an independent contractor just getting into asterisk and am wondering about minute providers. Do they charge you for incoming calls? Or just the calls you send?

depends. some charge a low monthly fee ($1-5) and per minute for incoming, others charge just a flat monthly fee ($10 or so) and usage is free.
