# app\_conference on asterisk 1.4

Hi,

I would like to use app\_conference instead of MeetMe. I read that app\_conference is not (yet) working with asterisk 1.4. Is that true?

Moreover, as the documentation of app\_conference looks very old and outdated, is it recommended to use app\_conference in the future? Dose anybody take care of its development?

I’ll do that.

But dose no one have experience with app\_conference on Asterisk 1.4?

Looks like a dieing projekt to me.
