Agent login/logout

I know this has to be documented somewhere but I can’t find it anywhere when I search. How do you add the ability for users to login to a call group? For example when a given user is at his desk they log into the system and receive calls from the queue, but when they log out, or if they miss a call, they do not receive calls.

Any ideas?
