Hi,
first of all, I do not have any experience with Bluetooth devices, therefore please correct me for any wrong assumptions.
I am wondering if a bluetooth headset can be used to connect to Asterisk, directly or indirectly, so that incoming calls can be answered with the device? The idea is to have the wireless and handsfree benefits with VOIP. If possible, would appreciate if anyone can provide details on the model of the headset in use and feedback on its feasibility. Thanks.

I already use a softphone + a bluetooth headset.
You have to consider 2 things.
Microsoft bluetooth driver doesn’t support bluetooth headset so you have to use the WIDCOMM driver but this not works so much well for me, sometimes my headset got a disconnected and i’ve to reconnect it, even during a conversation.
