Hi people, i work in one carrier, i search advantages of sip vs ss7, in the web no speak much over sip vs ss7. SIP is simple, but SS7 is robust, for many years operators use SS7 witout problems. why your things operators migrating SS7 to SIP??? any ideas??

The use is for interconnect Carrier SS7 to Carrier VOIP.

To the Carrier VOIP is very easy interconnect to SIP, but the carrier SS7 is easy SS7.

SS7 is used more by the phone companies. There are a lot of advantages to SS7 over SIP and vice versa. It really depends on what you are trying to do.
