I’ve installed Asterisk 1.4.17 from source, and am using VoIP internally, with a Sangoma AFT101 T1 card to connect to the outside world (the Sangoma card is using the wanpipe-3.2.1 drivers).
Our T1 is used for a small volume of inbound calls, but a large volume of outbound as we are using an automated dialing system that places calls via the Manager API. Once in a while we get a deadlock between chan_zap’s do_monitor and zt_request, as described in bugs.digium.com/file_download.ph … 2&type=bug
After the deadlock, I can run “core show channels” once, but then the console locks up completely, and I have to kill -9 the asterisk process.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
