I am replacing our old asterisk server with a new machine running Centos 5.3 and Asterisk 1.4.26.2
The changeover has been fairly painless but I’m still having probs getting Music on Hold to work - and for that matter Milliwatt too.
extensions.conf:exten => 87,1,DateTime()
exten => 88,1,MusiconHold(default)
exten => 89,1,Milliwatt()
musiconhold.conf[default]
mode=files
directory=/var/lib/asterisk/moh
There are some wav, ulaw and alaw files in /var/lib/asterisk/moh
If I dial 87 I can hear the data and time but with 88 or 89 I hear nothing.
